MARGARET Webb has been passionate about sewing all her life and her burning ambition was always to own a Bernina store.

The opportunity to purchase the store arose in December 2013 and the family made a decision to make her dreams come true and Bernina Pietermaritzburg was purchased by Margaret and Stan Webb in January 2014.

Margaret is very creative and by purchasing the store, she is able to share her creativity and passion for sewing with others.

After identifying room for improvement to our facilities, the business was relocated to our current premises at 266 Prince Alfred street.

The new store has plenty of parking and is open plan bright and airy. Margaret has undergone extensive training on the entire product range and is well versed in all aspects of sewing and embroidery.

Bernina PMB offers a comprehensive range of Bernina, Bernette and Nina sewing, embroidery and overlocking machines in a price range to suit all pockets.

We also sell the Maqi range of industrial sewing and overlocking machines.

Reuben our technician has been with the company for over 30 years and runs an excellent workshop on the premises. Margaret has recently returned from a national Bernina conference where the new range of Bernina and Bernette overlockers as well as Bernette sewing machines were unveiled.

Also new to the range is the new Bernina 700 stand alone embroidery machine. Over and above the machine launch, Bernina is introducing the Lutterloh System pattern making system whereby customers can easily design and create their own patterns.

This system is extremely reasonable in price and Margaret is very excited about selling as well as giving classes using this system. The new Bernina Toolbox Wizard embroidery software comes with 600 new designs and allows for editing, lettering and monogramming your custom designs. Once Margaret has done her training on the software in July, she will be holding classes as well.

Exciting times lie ahead for Berina PMB with the new range of products and Margaret is looking forward to showing you our existing and new products, so why not pay us a visit.
