Shooting the breeze

I SPEND many sleepless nights trying to put together our annual community sports day.

This annual event is scheduled for 29 October at Panorama Primary School from 9am, however, the one problem that is making me is uneasy is that our sports ground doesn’t have goalposts because the old ones were rusty and fell apart.

It might appears as though I am fighting a losing battle, but I will do whatever it takes for this event to go ahead.

As a proud parent, a proud Ward 34 resident and community activist who always likes to see our children taking part in sport, than to see them loitering or getting involved in all sorts of social ills, let me assure you this event will go ahead as planned.

Interested local business people, or donors and sponsors can contact me at 083 521 9553, email me at jerryb.barnes228 and 8 Redwood Crescent, Panorama Gardens, Panorama if they want to contribute to the event.
