Shooting the Breeze

2016-11-23 06:01

ON Sunday 20 November we will wrapping up our annual community sports day in Panorama.

Normally the event is a one-day affair, but the weather or showers of blessing didn’t allow us to finish all the events in one day.

I am not complaining and I feel that our event has been blessed and saved a lot of souls because just keeping the community and our neighbourhood and other area children playing for hours means a lot. Some companies and businesses around Eastwood or Panorama, Ward 34, may think there is no need or it is not important to join hands with us, but one day they will learn that community upliftment is important and an easy tool to market themselves with.

On Sunday games will begin at 9am sharp at Panorama Primary and teams are urged to be punctual. Finals are scheduled for 4pm.

On a final note let me take this opportunity to thank all our good friends and local business people who joined hands and supported us from day one, people like Babloo of Kara Nichhas, Poobi Naidoo of Poobie Naidoo’s Sports, Ridwaan Soundz, SAPS and the Panorama Primary School SGB.
