THE Maritzburg United Football Club took a break from their gruelling Premier Soccer League schedule to spread some Christmas joy, paying a visit to the SOS Children’s Village on Friday.

Spreading their festive cheer, the team had lunch and played games with the appreciative and excited children.

Marketing officer for the SOS Children’s Village national office, Seithuto Seakgwa said that the team gave back to the community in a special way by spreading joy to the children of Pietermaritzburg.

“The team wanted to do something special for the children and what better way to spread festive cheer by making a child happy this festive season,” said Seakgwa.
