THE St Mary’s Catholic Church Spring Day Fair was a hit on Saturday.

There was lots to see and do to keep family members entertained, from jumble sales, food stalls, beer tents and even archery lessons.

Not sticking to the norms of usual games at a fair, the life teen group from St Mary’s came together to host an array of activities, bringing back the memories of yesteryear with Jenga, hacky sack toss and a limbo pole.

Fresh food was served and accompanied by entertainment from dancing school, Caitlyn’s Ballet Beautiful.

“This was all possible thanks to our Catholic Women’s League president, Leigh Woolridge, who put this together to bring our community closer and to enjoy more than Netflix dates and computer games,” said Michelle Markides. Many people were amazed at the various goods on sale for such affordable prices while children were kept on their toes throughout the day with the various activities.

“Thank you all for coming to entertain celebrate and enjoy the comradeship. Thanks to the supporters and helpers, the day was a blessed success,” said Woolridge.
