ST Charles College Grade 12 pupils embarked on their annual leadership extension programme to Zingela Safaris and River Company recently.

The programme is designed as a leadership course as well a chance for the matrics of 2018 to bond before starting their matric year.

The extension programme included a number of activities to encourage bonding and leadership, activities such as problem solving, an obstacle course, abseiling, paintball and white water river rafting.

The evening sessions were run by staff and focussed on leadership and goal setting. This got the matrics thinking about what they wanted to achieve as a matric group and what positive change they could make to the school.

As always, they were looked after well by Peter Calverley and the Zingela staff.

The food was amazing and the activities were well run and organised. The camp proved to be extremely successful and ensured that the Grade 12s of 2018 started off the year as a team. — Supplied.
