SUPERSAVE co-owner Abu Khatib said their relationship with Echo goes “way back”, before the business even traded as SuperSave. SuperSave, formerly Win Chain Supermarket, was situated in Church Street 40 years ago and that’s when its relationship with Echo began!“We started advertising in Echo when we were still trading as Win Chain supermarket,” he said. Khatib said SuperSave celebrates 35 years in business this year and they are grateful for and happy with the relationship they have with Echo.“We are so happy with Echo. The publication takes care of us.“Our customers love the paper, and we enjoy spending our money with Echo,” he said. “Every Thursday our customers always come to the shop and look for Echo.”He said copies of the Echo don’t last very long at the store as people wait eagerly outside, before it even opens, to get their hands on one. He said advertising in Echo brings joy to their customers and, subsequently, those customers turn into happy shoppers at his store. “Echo helps us get the message across to all our customers. We will continue advertising with Echo as long it continues to take care of us.“We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and thank you to God because we are surviving after all these years,” said Khatib.
