HILTON SAPS is appealing for assistance from the community in locating Nhlanhla Michael Jili (47), also known as Dlamini, from Dambuza location near Sanzwili Primary School.

It is alleged that on December 4, 2015, at around 3pm, the suspect was caught by a shop owner at Hilton Village stealing items from the business premises.

KZN SAPS spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala said: “The suspect was then arrested by Hilton police and he was charged with theft. He appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail.”

She said on June 22, 2017, the accused failed to appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court and his bail was revoked. A warrant for his arrest was issued and he is being sought by police.

The Hilton SAPS are also looking for Siphesihle Percival Mncwabe (24), from Hilton College, Valley Compound. “The suspect is wanted for housebreaking with intent to steal and for a theft he committed at Hilton College Complex, which he committed on November 19, 2016, at around 10.30am. He appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court and the charges were provisionally withdrawn due to unavailability of the witness at that stage,” Gwala said.

She said on July 24, 2017, a summons was issued by the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court warning the accused to appear before the court in August 2017.

“But he failed to appear. A warrant for his arrest was issued,” Gwala said.

The third suspect sought by the Hilton SAPS is Koshik Subha (40), from Crest Place, Northdale.

“Subha was employed as a cashier at a business in Hilton when it was discovered he had been stealing money when cashing up. The incident took place on February 28, 2015. The suspect confessed to his supervisor and promised to repay the money, which he never did. A case of theft was opened for further investigation and a warrant of arrest was issued against him,” Gwala said. The SAPS appeal to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Thobani Nxele of Hilton SAPS on 072 108 1738 or 033 845 6520/1/5 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. - Supplied.
