KESHMIKA Sivnarain (16), from Pietermaritzburg played exceptionally well against highly ranked Nigeria to notch up South Africa’s first win of the World Junior Table Tennis tournament at the Grand West Casino in Cape Town, which started on 30 November. That was not the only win for the aspiring South African, she than triumphed against qualified Fiji from the Oceania-Australia region winning convincingly three sets to nil.“I felt proud and overwhelmed that I was able to defeat Nigeria as they are currently ranked second as a team in Africa.“It was an amazing experience and I’m glad to be a part of it. I am happy that I made my country proud.
