SEVEN people were injured on Tuesday morning when a taxi and a motor car collided on the New England Road bridge.

ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene at 6.10am to find the taxi and car in the middle of the road.

The passengers of the taxi were found walking around at the scene, with the driver still seated inside his car.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven people had sustained minor to moderate injuries, and no serious injuries were found.

Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Northdale and Grey’s hospitals.

Details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
