Taxi and car collide, seven injured

SEVEN people were injured on Tuesday morning when a taxi and a motor car collided on the New England Road bridge.

ER24 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene at 6.10am to find the taxi and the
car in the middle of the road.
The taxi passengers were found walking around the scene while the driver of the car was found seated inside his car.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven people had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

No serious injuries were found on the scene.

Paramedics treated
the patients and transported them to Northdale and Grey’s Provincial
hospitals.
