EXPRESSING their gratitude, the Msunduzi Hospice Association has thanked Friends of Hospice who have worked tirelessly for 25 years in aid of the organisation.According to Vijaya Chetty, the Friends of Hospice team started raising much-needed funds for the Msunduzi Hospice Association 25 years ago. “In their first year they raised R 10 182. This year  they raised a whopping R285 413,” said Chetty.Appreciating the work done by Friends of Hospice, Chetty quoted Henry Ford, saying: “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” Furthermore, Chetty said the Friends of Hospice Team have achieved much success, saying: “We appreciate the committee’s dedicated commitment over the past 25 years, especially Pete Jugmohan’s, the heart and soul of the team.” Chetty added that hospice is also grateful to the community of Pietermaritzburg for once again supporting the Friends of Hospice Truro Dance.Chetty asked: “How do you say thank you to a group of committed community workers who have worked tirelessly for 25 years? We can only but say: Thank you.” “They say the best gifts of all around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. “Wishing you a very merry Christmas surrounded by your precious family, and many blessings for 2020,” said Chetty.
