The joy of grandparents

2017-10-25 06:00

IT is often said that a parent’s greatest joy is having grandchildren.

Lovely little people who are their legacy, and a bundle of joy, who can be loved and cared for and then given back when they are cranky and wet.

I have heard it jokingly said that the reason people have children is so that they can have grandchildren. There is some truth in the statement.

Most of the time grandchildren are happy to see their grandparents and are less likely to get into trouble with them.

It was just the other day when a grandparent told me that his children sat on his lap in their years of infancy, but his grandchildren sat in his heart.

Grandparents find it easier to ignore the small disaster that accompany small children.

Parents are still the most powerful influence in the lives of their children’s experience so that they will make responsible choice with regards to all habits.
