Toddler injured in R56 accident

THE driver of a motor car and a toddler are in a critical condition after a collision with a bakkie on the R56 near France location in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

The driver of the bakkie also required immediate attention and is in a critical condition
after the crash that took place at approximately 6.50pm.

Two other passengers of the motor car sustained moderate to serious injuries.

ER24 transported two of the patients to Grey’s Hospital and two were transported to nearby hospitals.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known, but authorities were on the scene for further investigation. - Supplied.
