THREE men were left injured on Tuesday morning when a wall collapsed on them at a construction site on Ross Close Road in Eastwood.

ER24 paramedics were dispatched at to the scene at 11.20 am. Upon arrival, paramedics found that the three men had already been pulled from the rubble by their co-workers.

It is alleged that the men had been working on the wall before it collapsed.

Paramedics assessed the men and found that two had sustained moderate injuries while a third man had sustained serious injuries.

The men were treated for their injuries, and the seriously injured man provided with pain-relief medication, before they were transported to Northdale Provincial Hospital and Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg for further treatment.
