Ward 36 meeting coming up

PELHAM, Cleland, Bellevue, Meadows, Scottsville Extension, Mkondeni and parts of Scottsville - areas bound by Golf Road, King Edward Avenue, New England Road, Alan Paton Avenue, Alexandra Road, Jesmond Road and Oribi Road residents are invited to a public community meeting.

It takes place at Alexandra High School Hall on Thursday, May 24 at 5.30pm.

The ward councillor will report back on matters affecting the Ward 36 community, including service delivery issues and the proposed increases in tariffs and charges and ward projects submitted for inclusion in the Msunduzi Integrated Development Plan and Budget for 2017/18.

Residents are encouraged to participate in a question and answer session at the meeting.

The guest speaker is Professor Martin Prozesky and the topic is “Ethical Imperatives in Local Government”.

Appropriate municipal managers have been invited to attend. Parking is available in the school grounds via the main entrance in Alexandra Road.
