NORTHDALE’S 2017 Miss UniWorld SA finalist, Denelle Ince, has bagged yet another KZN Young Achiever award in the Pioneer Leadership category. The awards were held on Saturday, September 7 at the Durban ICC. In speaking on receiving the award for the second time, Ince said: “To be acknowledged on a national platform yet again is growth for me and a blessing.” Passionate about uplifting her community, Ince said her greatest honour comes from serving others. Ince believes that one can’t change the world but one can change the world in someone. The young achiever, who has 14 beauty titles and two awards to her name, said she involves herself a lot in charity drives to uplift her community in any way she can. “My biggest drive this year is the share warmth project, which reached over 1 000 lives in winter. When I started my share warmth campaign in 2015 I had only 30 items to donate. “Another drive dear to my heart is the Youth for Christ orphanage. I started working with them from the age of 15,” said Ince, who added that she would like to continue her campaigns with the hope that they will multiply each year. She also stressed that she is passionate about being a catalyst for change and working with the youth to prove to them [that anything is possible]. Ince is currently approaching her final year in a Bachelor of Education degree.“As a beauty title holder and a award winner, I stand by my slogan: believe, achieve and receive. “When you put God first, your path will always be paved with success. And we all have the power to be someone’s miracle,”she said.
