FIVE lucky shoppers were recently announced as the winners of the win-a-car competition hosted by SuperSave Foodtown Hyper.

The winners each drove off in a brand-new Renault Kwid.

The competition, in its 12th year, ran from June and the winners were announced this month.

Tami Alves, divisional marketing manager for SuperSave, said this was the business’ way of giving back to their loyal customers and saying thank you for their support.

“This is just one of the many exciting initiatives that SuperSave runs. In the early years we gave away one car a year, but since 2015 we have been increasing the number year on year.

In 2018 we increased it to five cars. We will be running the competition again in 2019 with more improvements.

“We would like to say thank you to our customers for their continued support over the years, without each and every customer this would not be possible.

“We are committed in continuing to give back to our customers and our community and to always giving you the best service and the best prices,” she concluded.
