2017-11-22 06:00

THE Witness Woz’oPhola Corporate Soccer Challenge 2017 has been postponed to December 2 and 3 at the Northdale Sports Grounds.

This is due to numerous requests from participating companies that November is their busy month because they are rounding up their annual plans.

The organisers then adhered to the requests by postponing the soccer challenge as requested.

Organisers wish to instil confidence in teams and stakeholders and confirm that the challenge will go ahead as planned. It will be a fun day for family and friends to braai and socialise while enjoying various soccer matches. There will also be wonderful prizes to be won.

Winners will take home medals, a carved trophy from The Witness and R5 000. Runners-up will go home with medals. The first runner-up will receive R3 000 the second will receive R1 500.

There will also be freebies and stunts throughout the day.

“We want to encourage companies not to miss out on this opportunity to participate in the soccer challenge as it is a constructive way to add fun and spontaneity in the workplace,” says Mbuso Madondo from Yellodot.
