Woman left critically injured in house fire

A 19-year-old woman was left critically injured on Monday morning following a fire at a residence on Greytown Road in Northdale.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 11.15am to find the Fire Services already in attendance.

Upon closer inspection, paramedics found a 19-year-old woman outside the property.

Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous burn wounds, leaving her in a critical condition.

Treatment and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated, in an effort to stabilize her vital signs.

Once treated, the woman was transported to Greys Provincial Hospital for further treatment. — Supplied
