THE beautiful Angelique Adcock, was crowned on August 15 as the new Mrs Port Elizabeth with first princess Bernadette Loock and second princess Yvette Peo.

Angelique (43) is co-owner of Electrocoat and mother of two. She is engaged to Henry Calpton.

“I have two children, Jared (16) and Skye (13), and Henry has two, Rio (14) and Hunter (13) - we are a blended family,” said Angelique. She was born in Johannesburg but grew up in Phalaborwa, and later moved to the Eastern Cape in 1990.

“I have a passion to motivate people and to ignite a spark wherever I go. If I can make a difference in just one person’s life that would be great,” said Angelique.

Yvette is a designer and the owner of Elegant Ivy Evening Bridal wear, after 21 years in the accounting profession. She is the mother of two sons, Tristan (16) and Liam (13), and has been married to her husband Ernest Peo for more than 15 years.

Yvette said, “I entered Mrs PE, because I had the sense that it was far more charity inclined than the modelling experience itself.”

Bernadette is a 35-year-old manager at The Bottle Stores - Consol Glass Distributors for the Eastern Cape, and wife to Eugene Loock. She is the mother of Dylan (13), Danay(10) and Danika Peo (5).

“So often we forget to dream and set goals, and I want to change that by showing the community to share a little love,” said Bernadette.

All three of these ladies plan on continuing community service, as the Mrs PE journey showed them how big the need is out there
