THE 17th Celebrity Golf Classic with major sponsor Trink Group Holdings and asso- ciate sponsors The Protea Hotel Marine, the Just Property Group and Werner’s Spitbraais is set to take place at The Hill Port Elizabeth Golf Club on Tuesday, October 13.

The Classic benefits older persons served by the Algoa Bay Council for the Aged, in particular the sub-economic aged in receipt of state pensions in the Nelson Mandela Metro. ABCA’s main focus is to render services that enable older persons to remain active and independent within the community.

Flying in from Cape Town in support of the event, will be Roxy Louw, daughter of legendary Bok Rob Louw, also a competitive surfer and model.

Former Springbok lock Adri Geldenhuys and prop Anton Barnard, SA Cricketers Dave Callaghan and Meyrick Pringle, Algoa FM Presenter Daron Mann and Robyn Rutters Mrs Port Elizabeth 2005 are some of the other personalities who will be swinging for services for the older persons served by the Algoa Bay Council for the Aged.

Super prizes and the Celebrity golf Classic Floating Trophy are up for grabs, as well as beautifully bound 3-year diaries, pens and lanyards from Trink.

The auction will be handled by Vigne and Howard and will include a box-framed pre-owned pair of jeans by Roxy Louw as well as several holiday getaways.
