Baakens Valley Preservation Trust: The Baakens Valley Preservation Trust will have a guided circular walk in the Robert Searle Park area of the Baakens Valley on 3 October starting at 9am. Meet at the Baakens Trail sign board at the upper end of Alan Drive, Walmer Downs. There is off street parking and there will be rangers to assist. Contact Nelia at 072 285 7619.

Friends of Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve: Will be having their well-known indigenous plant sale on the 3 October from 9am to 1pm. There will be a trail run at 8am and a family mountain bike ride at 10 am. This is the only fundraising event for the year and all the funds will be used to do work in the wild flower reserve. The Friends of the Walmer Library: Will have a books, crafts and food mini-market at the Walmer Library on 2 October from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

Friends of the Linton Grange Library: Will be having a Book Sale at the library on 3 October from 8am to 11am. All books sold at R5. For more info contact Anne at 041 360 0797.
