THE Ex-Factor is currently staged by Pemads at The Little Theatre until October 16, nightly at 7pm.

This delightfully funny British comedy/farce has an array of characters and scenes which are beautifully crafted by the late Ian Hornby – a prolific British playwright, whose works have delighted audiences worldwide for many years.

The Ex-Factor sees Phil and Jane about to welcome the first paying Bandamp;B guests to their farm, but first they have to impress the Bandamp;B inspector, who just happens to be Phil’s ex-wife. The guests are arriving, the manure is ripening and the Ex is too friendly. The Ex has also brought her partner, who is rumoured to be a Chippendale!

This production is directed by award-winning Yolande Farrow, whose production of Snow White, the Pantomime, last year took many awards and was a real crowd-pleaser. Yolande is currently the Pemads Chairperson and is not only recognised in the directorial seat, but has a long list of excellent performances in both straight and musical theatre.

The Ex-Factor stars Caren Bestbier, Leo Hulsman, Caitlin Smith, Glen McIlroy, David Roll, Janet Whitehouse and Marianah Lourens - all of whom have a great track-record both in straight and musical theatre as well.

Tickets cost R70 and may be booked through Computicket
