IT was a clean sweep for women at the Win-a-Merc draw at three Bingo Royale outlets on Saturday, June 13.

Number 13 was certainly lucky for Zibula Nosisa, Joy Petersen, Sanette Jonker and Elrico Graham.

Bingo Royale Jeffreys Bay was filled to capacity, with hundreds more regulars glued to screens outside the Fountains Mall venue to find out if they would be the lucky winners in the first car draw since the venue opened three months ago.

The lucky winner of a C-Class Mercedes-Benz was Sanette Jonker, from Port Elizabeth.

There were also big crowds for the third Win-a-Merc draw at Cleary Park in Port Elizabeth, with big cheers greeting the news that Joy Petersen had won the glitzy car.

In East London Zibula Nosisa was overcome with joy when she was announced winner of the Mercedes-Benz. It’s the second Mercedes Benz to be given away at the Bingo Royale in the East London town centre.

Elrico Graham was the winner of the Win a Merc competition at Ritz Bingo Mthatha last weekend.

It’s also been a quarter of big wins at the Bingo Royale outlets in the Eastern Cape.

Players in East London have won two of the biggest Bingo jackpots ever paid out in the Eastern Cape.

On May 25 a player who wishes to remain anonymous won R144 081.93 in the progressive jackpot from machine number 50101.

In April lucky winner Fedelah Smith went home with R149 605.50 after hitting the progressive jackpot on machine 20903 in Cleary Park.

Bingo Royale’s progressive jackpot combines the play on certain machines across the Bingo Royale network in Jeffreys Bay, Cleary Park, East London and Mthatha.

“We are delighted to see the jackpots paying out because our goal is to give every visitor to a Bingo Royale or Ritz Bingo outlet a winning experience,” says Bingo Royale director Yolande Manuel.

“We are excited to announce that a new car will now be given away every two months,” says Manuel. Up to now Bingo Royale has given away a Mercedes-Benz every three months.

There will be a special car draw on August 8 at Cleary Park and Jeffreys Bay to mark the start of the new promotion
