Mystery ghost bus returns to the Bay

2015-09-02 10:33

WITH this Saturday’s “Mystery Ghost Bus” sold out, an additional show is planned for October 10.

The tour is performed by its owner and creator illusionist Mark Rose-Christie who adds other “dimensions” to the tours with his magic and illusion skills such as bending keys and mind-reading.

Rose-Christie’s Mystery Ghost Bus tours, which are in their 15th year of operation, roam dark eerie streets at night.

The PE tour has amassed so many stories over time, that national ghost authors such as the late Pat Hopkins included several of them in his well-known book “Ghosts of South Africa”.

Rose-Christie has been key to providing ghost authors with ghost stories around SA, one of which was given to Hopkins regarding the story of Richly House - today ‘The Brazenhead’ – one of PE’s most haunted buildings.

A completely new story for PE is the Phantom Hitchhiker of Target Kloof, who seems to be the ghost of an accident victim who died along the bend at the bottom of the road some decades ago.

He is no mere ‘replay’ ghost however, but rather an ‘interactive’ ghost, much like the Uniondale Hitchhiker.
