PE Mental Health offers new service for parents

2015-06-03 06:01

PORT Elizabeth Mental Health is giving the caregivers of children the chance to ask questions or share their challenges and fears online with a professional social worker.

“This will give parents the security to share what is on their heart knowing that they will get the best-formulated answer from a panel of experts,” said Deonette Chapman of PE Mental Health.

“In today’s economically driven world we understand that not everyone has time or an opportunity to be able to attend a support group or meetings as there are so many time-bound responsibilities at work or at home. Yet all parents want to give their utmost towards the care of their children, physically, developmentally and emotionally,” she said.

“Registration with this service will also entitle you to receive a monthly article on a topic that you will find beneficial with regard to the care of your child,” Chapman said. – REPORTER
