THE In High Gear event is back again and ready to inspire the ambitious and driven individuals of Port Elizabeth.

Peter van Kets, international key note speaker and award winning adventurer who survived a trip across Antarctica to the South Pole, will share his story on perseverance, courage, teamwork and the will to win at this year’s event.

It will take place at Running Waters in Kragga Kamma Road on October 14 from 6pm to 10pm.

In High Gear is a professional platform where individuals have the opportunity to network with other likeminded people, namely, “those who share the same hunger for success and desire to expand their horizons in order to reach new heights of excellence in their careers,” said co-founders Jon-Paul Raper and Russel Ho.

In High Gear was launched in 2015 where TV celebrity, Dr Michael Mol, was the main speaker.

Chartered accountants, lawyers, doctors, engineers, businessmen and many more made up the more than 250 guests who attended.

“We trust that even more professionals will attend this year as this elite professional networking opportunity will not only empower individuals to go beyond their limits, but also contribute to the well-being of others,” Raper said.

This year, In High Gear will be taking professional networking to a whole new level by creating awareness for the visually impaired, partnering with Retina SA.

There will be various prizes up for grabs, the main one being seven nights in Zanzibar’s Michamvi Sunset Bay Resort.

All funds generated from the prize buy-ins will go towards Retina SA.
