Alluta hits the track at SA’s

Morningside High School athlete, Alluta Maselle (17), took part in the SA Biathlon championships on March 30 at the NMU Stadium and Newton Park Swimming Pool. He came in 13th position in the senior men’s section. He also qualified to take part in the ASA track and field event, which will take place in Paarl. Alluta is a qualified lifesaver, accomplished road runner and cross country athlete. He is also a member of the Ikhamva Athletics Club. He started his running career as a 10-year-old at Swartkops Primary where he was the captain of their very successful road running team.              Photo:SUPPLIED
