FANS saw Eleven Attackers drubbing Villagers 5-1 in their SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay Masters League clash at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Sunday.

The game initially looked as if it would end in a goalless draw as a hard battle was fought in the centre of the field.

Attackers’ long-awaited goal came courtesy of Xhanti Isaac, while Villagers replied with their equalising goal, scored by Bongani ‘Dollar’ Magwashu.

Zola ‘Chacklass’ Zuzile added a goal for Attackers to increase their lead to 2-1.

Following a good combination between Shakes Tyatya, Thembelani Kimsho Kondlo and Thando Bashin Matinyane, things were made simple and easy for Zuzile, who scored his second goal to increase Attackers’ lead to 3-1.

The super substitute, Zane Mrwebi, scored his goal on his first touch for Attackers, adjusting the score to 4-1.

Patrick Mgudlandlu then sent a nifty pass to Mrwebi, who scored his side’s last goal, to make the final score 5-1 in favour of Attackers.
