SIX dancers of the McWilliams Academy of Dance (M.A.D) studio will be representing South Africa at the Irish Dancing World Championships to be held in Dublin, Ireland next year in March.

They qualified for the prestigious competition in the recent Irish Dancing South African Championships which took place in Johannesburg.

Despite the fact that the competition was fierce and the heat intense, they gave it their all for three days.

The six dancers who will be competing in the World Championships are:

•Courtney Pearce - this is her seventh qualification

•Mia Jansen van Rensburg - this is her second qualification

•Jenna Hayes - this is her third qualification

•Lisa Ward - this is also her second qualification

•Siobhan Moore - this is her fourth qualification

•Michaela Flood - this is her first qualification as a M.A.D dancer, but her fourth in total.
