THE McWilliams Academy of Dance recently supported two charity drives that are close to their hearts.

They collected blankets, clothes and non-perishables for the Round Table Winter Knights campaign and various types of used sports shoes for the Brian Bands Sports retired running shoes campaign.

Round Table vice-chairman, Simon Ward said, “It is truly inspiring to see a group of young ladies thinking of those less fortunate than themselves and on behalf of Round Table 108 and Algoa Toyota, I’d like to thank them for their continued acts of goodwill.”

McWilliams Academy of Dance owner Jennifer McWilliams added, “It is very important for us to give back to the community that supports us so generously with our own efforts to raise funds for our studio and it also enables the girls to grow up with a community conscience.”

The studio also recently helped to raise funds for St Francis Hospice by performing at Last Night of the Proms.
