ZAHRA’S Oriental Belly Dance Studio is staging their eight edition of the annual World Belly Dance Day at the Savoy Theatre on Saturday, May 12.

World Belly Dance Day happens globally every second Saturday of May.

Zahra’s has been hosting the PE fundraiser since 2010 and have raised funds and awareness for animal charities, including P.E.A.R and Cat Care.

This year, together with fellow dance studio Cario Moon and Grahamstown-based Gigi Belly Dance Studio, they will be hosting internationally acclaimed dancers Thelma Rose and Natalie Clark from Johannesburg.

All proceeds raised on the day will be donated to the Animal Welfare Society Port Elizabeth.

Tickets are available online for R100 at https://bellydancepe.co.za/book-tickets or via whatsapp on 0845523187.

The show starts at 19:00.
