THIS week’s Big Deal Lifestyle Expo offers a big deal, every day on every stand. The expo organisers have taken one step further by including three local charities in the big deals. The charities will share in a fund made up of 10% of all the entrance fees to the expo.Visitors to the show will determine the share that each charity gets of the fund. Each visitor will receive a token when they purchase their ticket, that they may deposit into the box of their favourite charity at this exciting new annual expo. The charity fund will be distributed in proportion to the amount of ‘votes’ received by each charity. This year’s charities will be National Sea Rescue, Animal Welfare and the Harvest Kleinskool Swop Shop, run by Harvest Christian Church. The Big Deal Lifestyle Expo includes home products, as well as products and services from many aspects of our everyday lives. There’s plenty for both men and women to browse, plus some interesting first-time features such as “selfie” booths. Stalls have everything from motorbikes to beautiful gifts; delicious food to comfy beds; off-the-grid power ideas to home decor and appliances, selfie boards and mountain bikes as well as weekend getaways, among others.
