A LOCAL businesswoman, Maphepane “Pepsi” Baiocco, who recently bought a Sleep Active Memory Foam® mattress, says after 8 months of painfree sleep she will not consider buying any other mattress again.

“It is really, really comfortable; it has been eight months of sheer pleasure since we bought it. Even the pillows that we bought to go with it are unbeatable. There has never been a morning since we first slept on it that we woke up with the aches and pains that normally go with other mattresses,” Baiocco said.

She said that when her husband bought the mattress she had at first been quite angry with him as she had thought it was too expensive and that he had wasted money.

“But we have since then realised that it was worth all the money we paid for it.”

She said the treatment they had received as customers from the very friendly Darryn-Lee Arends, Customer Interface Manager at the Sleep Active company, had been excellent.

“They immediately made us feel at home; the customer service was very good and they were very friendly and courteous.

“An example is that they found out just before delivering the mattress that it did not conform exactly to the order we had placed and immediately called to say that they would have to replace it.

“Which they did, in exactly seven days as they promised. We can really recommend them, as we are sure their professional treatment of people comes naturally,” Baiocco said, adding that they would never change to other types of mattresses, ever.

Sleep Active, in Moffett on Main in Port Elizabeth, was founded in 2003 and is a South African company.

“Our Memory Foam® mattresses respond and adjust according to downward pressure and temperature sensitivity, cradling the body in its preferred sleeping position.

“By conforming to the shape and weight of the body, the mattresses allow for optimum pressure distribution,” Arends said.
