ROYAL Bucks faced the high-riding Highlands Spurs and defeated them 1-0 during their Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) Premier League clash at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Sunday.

Spurs took the game to Bucks. A Spurs defender was given a red card after punching a Bucks player early in the first half.

The 10-man side pressed hard, but their strikers failed to convert their chances into goals.

The first half ended goalless, with Spurs promising to break the ice.

Bucks came up strongly in the second half, but Spurs kept on fighting. Vuyani Bravo Willem sprayed good passes to Bucks’ midfielders.

Willem initiated a good move that helped Siviwe Senyaka Siyona score a spectacular goal in the 68th minute.

Fans also saw Real Strikers coming from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester FC in their close-fought game. Manchester’s diminutive left wing Ayabonga Badi scored the opening goal.

Strikers levelled matters 1-1 after Luyanda Kuse banged in an equaliser. Manchester FC cancelled the joy of Strikers’ supporters after Badi came up with his second goal. Strikers drew 2-2 following a goal by Simphiwe Bompie Mtati.
