WESTPARK scored a comfortable 4-1 win over PE City in the PELFA Old Buck Gin League. The game went into half-time with Westpark 2-0 up thanks to goals from Lionel Terblanche and Mike Frosler.

Cliffy Murphy wasted a chance to score for City in the first half when he missed a penalty, but he made up for it when he scored for City nine minutes into the second half.

Shane Jenneker added Westpark’s third midway through the second half and Terblanche completed his brace 10 minutes before full time.

Kuyga Masters got back to winning ways when they beat African Leopards 1-0. Isheunesu Mazvarira scored for Kuyga in the dying minutes of the game.

Newcomers Fairview Rovers earned their first point in the league when they drew 1-1 with Priory at NMU South.

Nathan Jones had Rovers in the lead one minute into the second half, however, Kagan Assam put Priory on level terms around 19 minutes later.

Mahle Old Grey continued their high scoring record when they thrashed St Albans 3-0 in their own backyard. Maraks Bezuidenhout and Brian Barendse scored for Old Grey in the first half.

Travis la Mude also made sure he was on the score sheet when he found the back of the net for Mahle Old Grey in the final minute of the game.

Callies maintained their unbeaten run in the league getting the better of Shamrocks at Londt Park 2-0.

Moenier Safedien scored from the penalty spot 10 minutes into the first half and Davey Brooks completed Callies’ win with a goal 27 minutes into the second half.
