THE PELFA Old Buck Gin League saw a number of high-scoring games take place last week.

Log leaders Callies thrashed African Leopards 8-2 in their own backyard.

For Callies, Karl Pereira netted a hat-trick, Mogamat Davids scored a brace and Anton Belairs, Jerome Cupido and Nigel Bailey weighed in with a goal each.

For Leopards, Tabo Simane scored one in the first half and Lwazi Gobane netted their second in the second half.

Fairview Rovers put five goals past Westpark’s defence. For Rovers, Cheslyn Jaftha scored one in the first half. The second half saw one each from Sharief Mamoojee, Nathan Jones, Ruaan Sauls and one from Westpark.

NMBM got their third win of the season whipping PE City 5-0. For NMBM Shaun Sokiya scored two and Sizwe Hani one in the first half. Ndyebo Madolo and Lindiso Mpabanga with one goal each rounded off a good win for NMBM.

Mahle Old Grey seem to be struggling at the moment after a 1-0 defeat against Kuyga Masters. Thanduxolo Sinqe scored for Kuyga in the first half.

Old Grey had a good few shots at a goal but could not find the back of Kuyga’s net.

Central Acemates registered a solid 3-1 win over Shamrocks. For Acemates, Sambu Mbuyiselo and Melikhaya Mdlalo scored in the first half and Anele Madosi got their third goal deep into the second half.

Shamrocks’ lone goal came from Levendrin Norman early in the second half.

St Albans had a good 4-2 victory over Priory thanks to Siyabonga Namba’s hat-trick and Tekiso Mntwana’s goal in the first half.

Brent Kopps and Rory Mortimer scored for Priory deep into the second half.
