CAMPER United FC scored an early goal that saw them edging out their neighbours, Motherwell School of Excellence (MSE) FC, 1-0 during a tough SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) SAB Regional League encounter at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.

Camper used their wind advantage as they launched more attacks on their counterparts.

Following a goal scramble, Camper’s seasoned player, Lukhanyo Sheriff Rasmeni, banged in the only goal to help his side accumulate three league points.

MSE FC improved strongly in the last stages of the game with Malibongwe Dollar Dickson initiating some good moves.

The inclusion of Asanda Mari nearly paid dividends for MSE but Camper goalkeeper Mbonisi Mbele stood his ground.

Camper defended in numbers, leaving the offensive right winger Sinethemba Ngudle alone up front.

Whenever Ngudle had the ball, he gave MSE’s defenders a headache. All in all, the game was very enthralling.

To the dismay of the players and fans, PE Sundowns FC could not take on Madibaz Football Club because Chevrolet Stadium was locked and the stadium’s caretaker was nowhere to be found.
