CAMPER United played to a goalless draw against Motherwell School of Excellence (MSE) in their SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League game at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.

Camper could not punish MSE, who arrived for the match with only nine players. Only a handful spectators were in attendance.

However, MSE looked as though they had a full team of 11 players, because they launched attack after attack. In the last five minutes of the game, MSE nearly broke the ice.

An attempt at goal was saved by Camper keeper within a few centimetres of the goal line. MSE striker Punisher Marali’s attempt hit the crossbar, as the keeper was well-beaten.

PE Sundowns, who have already won the league, collected four points in their double header. Sundowns gave Amarhamba United a severe 4-1 hiding at Jabavu Stadium on Saturday. The New Brighton side shared a 1-1 draw with Highland Spurs at Chevrolet Stadium on Sunday.

According to head referee Jacob Frolick, Major Chiefs could not take on Young Teenagers at Zwide Stadium because the match officials did not honour their appointment on Sunday.

Similarly, the scheduled encounter between Motherwell Academy and Stinging Bees did not take place because Motherwell NU 2 Stadium’s gates were locked.

SAFA NMB SAB Regional League results:

Roaring Tigers 2-0 Golden Aces

Stinging Bees 2-0 Despatch Pioneers

Young Teenagers 3-1 Bush Bucks

Motherwell Academy 1-2 Madibaz

Sibanye Colts 1-0 FC Winners

Madibaz 3-2 Roaring Tigers

Amarhamba United 0-5 Major Chiefs
