Caring for your fauna friends has never been this easy

WE’RE calling on all farmers, breeders and animal lovers in general this month! Taking care of your fauna friends’ nutritional needs has never been this easy.

Taking care of another living being, be it as small as a goldfish or big as a horse, is a big responsibility. Raising a loving and loyal pet requires more than the basics.

Keeping your livestock in prime condition works the same.

So, why settle for less than the best? And the best can all be found at the Co-op Mica, right here in Port Elizabeth.

They stock a wide range of animal feed, seeing to the needs of farmers’ sheep, chickens, horses, cattle and many more.

Their popular Epol range is scientifically formulated to suit the nutritional needs of animals.

Poultry feed, and other products for horses, pigs, game, ruminant, ostrich and many more ensure a perfectly balanced meal.

Added to the extensive Voermol product range on offer, you can find just about everything you need in one prime location.

For many livestock owners, Voermol is just the way to go. The Co-op offers their Dry Cow Supplement for the 21 days before calving; molasses meal to stimulate the appetite of sick animals and improve the palatability and texture of any feed or lick; ram, lamb and ewe pellets; Super 18 protein, mineral and energy supplement for ruminants; phosphate block mineral supplement for cattle, dairy cows, replacement heifers, sheep and ruminant game on green pastures; as well as the energy block, lambing pen pellets, molovite, production lick, Highveld lick, maxi block, protein block, rumevite cattle block and game block.

Salt licks and blocks, feed lime and rhino cubes are also readily available.

The Co-op also offers Voermol’s drought pellets that can be fed as a survival ration to cattle and sheep during times of feed scarcity.

This is especially important for South African farmers to keep in mind, considering we are not yet out of the woods where the drought is concerned.

Despite the fact that we’ve had rain, dam levels are not showing a noticeable increase and we could feel the effects soon enough.

Winter is also officially upon us and keeping animals in good health is a priority.

For the ordinary pet owner, the Co-op has the products needed to see to the nutritional needs of birds, cats, dogs, fish, mice and rabbits, available as well. Pigeon breeders are also a priority.

So, responsible and loving pet and livestock owners, get on down to the Co-op now to ensure your furry, feathery and other friends have access to top-notch nutritional products.

For more info or advice on your pet and livestock nutritional needs, visit the Co-op Mica, located in the Willow Road Shopping Centre on the corner of Circular Drive and Willow Road, or contact the sales team on 041 007 0580.
