SINCE 1979 Chapman High School has been providing top quality education to the struggling Gelvandale community.

One of the school’s goals is to help their learners to grow into their full potential within a safe environment.

They focus on equipping children with academic knowledge, as well as offering them sporting and cultural opportunities.

The Hollywoodbets Parliament Street team chose to support the school after staff members made contact with the branch and they saw the school’s great need. They visited the school to hand over some materials to assist with the much-needed renovation at the school.

The donation included painting and plumbing equipment, paint, two urinals, two basins and taps, four doors and locks, two door handle lock sets and four cisterns. They also covered the labour costs incurred.

Andrew Barry, senior teacher at the school, thanked the company for their generosity. “The school recently revamped the mini hall which is used for functions and exams. This donation of toilet facilities will ensure that the learners can enjoy a hygienic environment as well as that sanitary awareness is adhered to,” he said.
