CLARENDON Park Primary School is preparing to host its second annual U/11 Rugby Festival from April 20 to 22.

“The festival forms an integral part in growing the sport in our community, as well as in the school,” said Anda Sakube, Sports Administrator at Clarendon Park Primary School.

The schools that will participate in the festival include Clarendon Park, Gonubie, Sunridge, Herbert Hurd, Summerwood, Union, Muir, Cambridge, Lilyfontein and Westering.

The programme is as follows:

Thursday, April 20

Opening ceremony and welcome – 1pm

Clarendon Park vs Gonubie – 1pm to 2:20pm

Sunridge vs Cambridge – 2:20pm to 3:10pm

Herbert Hurd vs Union – 3:10pm to 4pm

Summerwood vs Muir – 4pm to 4:50pm

Westering vs Lilyfontein – 4:50pm to 5:40pm

Friday, April 21

Sunridge vs Lilyfontein – 9:20am to 10am

Herbert Hurd vs Muir – 10am to 10:40am

Clarendon Park vs Cambridge – 10:40am to 11:20am

Summerwood vs Gonubie – 11:20 to noon

Westering vs Union – noon to 12:40pm

Summerwood vs Lilyfontein – 1:40pm to 2:20pm

Herbert Hurd vs Cambridge – 2:20pm to3pm

Westering vs Gonubie – 3pm to 3:40pm

Sunridge vs Union – 3:40pm to 4:20pm

Clarendon Park vs Muir – 4:20pm to 5pm

Saturday, April 22

Grade 2 Rugby – 7:45am to 8:30am

Sunridge vs Westering – 8:30am to 9:20am

Summerwood vs Cambridge – 9:20am to 10:10am

Hebert Hurd vs Gonubie – 10:10am to 11am

Clarendon Park vs Lilyfontein – 11am to 11:50am

Closing ceremony – 11:50am to 12:10pm
