CompTIA, the global IT industry association, recently announced that Boston City Campus & Business College has been rated its top partner in Africa and third globally for a second year in a row. Boston also has the highest pass rate of all CompTIA testing centres across Africa.

“This is an incredible achievement for a partner from South Africa and we are extremely proud to be associated with them,” says Loraine Vorster of CompTIA SA.

“We attribute the tremendous success of Boston to their method of teaching, dedication of staff and the hands-on involvement of senior management.”

Boston has been CompTIA’s top Education Partner since 2003. Boston was the first CompTIA Authorized Partner Programme (CAPP) partner in Africa, and one of less than 20 in the world, to be awarded Platinum status on this programme.

In 2015 Boston was the largest Certification Partner in Africa, third Largest Certification Partner Globally 2015 and CAPP Partner of the Year.

Boston is accredited to offer CompTIA certifications such as the CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+ and Security+.

Sue de Roos, managing director of Boston, says the college’s excellent rating is a ray of light and hope against the backdrop of the many challenges faced by South African youth at present.

“Our rating goes to show that perseverance and commitment to excellence pay off no matter what.

’”Our country’s economy is not growing as it should, our education system is experiencing turbulence and youth unemployment is a real concern.

“Yet our members of staff and our students continue believing in a better future and continue working at their hardest and their best at creating this better future. We salute them.”
