THE Continental Express Ladies continued their unbeaten run when they accumulated six points in the two SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay Women’s Regional League games they played over the weekend.

The Express Ladies showed that they had a fighting spirit in them when they registered an away 3-1 victory against the Kwaza United Brothers (KUBS) at New Brighton Oval Stadium in their first game.

In their second game, the Express Ladies secured a 2-0 win over the African Chiefs at Wolfson Stadium in KwaZakhele.

Hearts also caused more problems for the African Chiefs after they devastated them 2-0 at Lawson Brown High School.

Despite their 3-2 loss to PE United at Lawson Brown High School Grounds, Hearts gave a good account of themselves.

The KUBS restored their dignity with their emphatic 6-0 victory over the hapless Nobuhle Ladies at Jabavu Stadium in KwaNobuhle.

Tomorrow Stars collected six points when they overcame Vuku Wanderers and Zwide All Stars 3-0 each at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium.

Young Aces disappointed their loyal supporters when they lost their home game 4-0 to Bodene Shatterprufe at Veeplaas Stadium. Bodene also continued where they left off on Saturday when they beat Vuku Wanderers 2-0 at Dower College Grounds. The Warriors lost 2-0 to Highbury Ladies at Dower College Grounds. Young Aces lost 2-0 to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Madibaz at the Veeplaas Grounds. – SELBY MADIKANE
