THE Haas Das Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre in Algoa Park recently opened its doors to host a special games day for the youth in an attempt to improve communication among children of all ages and backgrounds.

Members of the youth, aged seven to 15, were challenged to communicate with each other without using any communication devices.

Old school games were used for interaction and fun where teamwork was required and individual support was encouraged to provide motivation to complete the tasks.

“Children enjoyed the Minute to Win games that provided many laughable moments. ACVV Haas Das believes that youth should be targeted for interaction in a positive way,” said Haas Das ECD Centre principal Dollie Nel.
