Westway Laundry will be hosting a Stiletto Sprint along Frank Street in Newton Park on Saturday, July 16, to promote the business in the area and raise funds for charity. Proceeds will be going to Door of Hope Children’s Home in Sydenham.

The dress-code for ladies and girls is high heels and “Crazy Pink” for men and boys. The first 100 participants will get a free t-shirt, a bottle of water and a laundry-voucher. Entry fee is R50 each.

Groups of 4 persons or more can buy tickets for R25 each. Registration on the day is from 8am-9am, outside King Cars (between 5th and 6th Avenue, Newton Park).

The race starts at 9am for men and boys, at the corner of 6th and Frank Street for ladies, and at 17 Frank Street for girls under 12. Everyone to end-up at 7th Avenue.

Tickets to be purchased from Westway Cafe at 041 365 0217. Prizes include a stay at luxury apartments, haircuts/treatments, vouchers from Maley’s florist and Alcock’s Fishing Tackle, and prizes from Joe Davis and Klinipharm.
