AFTER 45 years, the members of the Eastern Province Senior Schools’ netball and rugby teams of 1972 came together once again to host a reunion recently.

The EP Senior Schools’ Sports Union (EPSSSU), an affiliate of the South African Senior Schools Sports Association (SASSSA), saw former learners of Patterson, Gelvandale, South End, Livingstone, Uitenhage and Spandau High School reunite for a weekend of catching up and bonding over shared memories.

Some of the attendees travelled from as far as Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape to attend the reunion.

They left with a promise to see each other again in 2019.
