ADVERTORIAL: Exciting times for A Peace of Art

2016-07-06 06:00

IT is exciting times for A Peace of Art.

They recently moved to their new premises, Peace@Heart Family Village, 85 Main Road in Walmer.

Now they have their own property to develop into a retreat for people being pushed too far by today’s crazy (unbalanced) lifestyle.

Their vision is to have a haven where families can just be . . . a family again; where children can play, grow and develop and mom and dad can have time to find each other again.

Their new coffee shop, Cup of Peace, hides in a tranquil garden, and the coffee is straight from heaven. Other exciting shops sharing the Family Village are Scarecrow’s Gone Quilting, where one can find all material needed for quilting and more; and Lavender Moon Creative Mind and Health Shop, for some natural therapies.

A Peace of Art not only offers arts and crafts, lots of fun, sell all craft materials, toys and gifts, but also offer classes involving therapy and development by a trained psychologist and psychometrist.

They do school visits, are involved in community projects, children’s homes, special homes and do team buildings.

They started a programme in June 2015 where they train members of the well-known Red Location in New Brighton to go into schools and use crafts as a therapeutic and development tool.

They are very well-known for their holiday programme and children’s parties.

  • A Peace of Art supplied all the wooden letters, craft paint, wooden quotes, black board paint and other crafts for the office make-over.
