Football fans flock to Premier League games

WALMER Football Association (WAFA) Premier League games attracted hundreds of football supporters to the Walmer Community Football Grounds at the weekend.

The rookies were baptised with fire in the WAFA top-flight football season campaign. Newcomers Two for Joy FC were devastated with a 1-2 loss against Eleven Experience, while Real Madrid handed the other newcomers, Hammers, a 2-1 defeat.

Young Cosmos did not show any mercy to Airport Valley City after they drubbed them 6-2.

Golden Heroes secured a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Walmer Hotspurs, while Peace United thumped Mabayibone Strikers 5-2.

Fans were also treated to a game of high standard when Manchester United went down 3-2 to Morning Stars.

Finally, Young Aces played to a 2-2 draw against Ghetto Stars.
